North Dakota Mandatory Posting Updates

  • 09/2019 - Important Notice to Workers - The North Dakota Workforce Safety and Insurance agency has modified the layout of their Important Notice to Workers posting. The updated layout is designed to more clearly identify the responsibilities and obligations of each party. The poster revision date is September 9, 2019.
  • 08/2015 - Minimum Wage - The North Dakota Department of Labor and Human Rights has updated their Minimum Wage posting. The section titled ""Tip Credit"" has been removed, and additional information has been added to the ""Tips"" section of the notice. Employers can now utilize a tip credit of 33% of the minimum wage for tipped employees. A description of what a tipped employee and what a service employee is has been included. The ""Paid Time Off"" section now includes a subtitle to indicate that the following information applies unless a limitation is met. ""The Limitations on Paid Time Off"" section has added a new subsection regarding withholding payment. Additionally, a new section has been added regarding employee uniform purchases. Finally, pregnancy has been added as a form of discrimination within the ""Employment Discrimination"" section. Please note that there is no revision date on the posting and that there has also been a change in the format for contact information.
